Tilt-turn windows
are three windows in one: Depending on the handle position, they
can be operated as fixed window (handle in 6 o'clock position),
in-swing casement window (handle in 9 o'clock position) and
tilt-in-from-the top (='hopper' window; handle in 12 o'clock
position). Tilt-turn windows are easy to reach from the inside
for cleaning and maintenance and also offer added security and
draft-free ventilation.
Suited through with
the casement window, a slim bevelled sightline provides a super
window where cleaning the outside pane is required from within
the room. Multi-point locking ensures highly effective security.
The hinge and locking system enables the window to operate in
two ways. A simple rotation of the handle tilts the window into
the ventilation position. A further rotation allows the window
to open in for easy cleaning. For added safety, a tilt
restrictor is fitted to reduce the risk of the window being
fully opened accidentally. All windows incorporate a unique sash
lifter to ensure trouble-free operation.
The highest performing
window on the market, the Tilt-turn window combines long lasting beauty
and easy dependable operation. It has become the market leader in
residential and commercial construction in Germany since the 1960's. The
tilt-turn window concept has now gained wide acceptance inside and
outside of Europe
